Jeff Gelfond

Jeff Gelfond, a New York native, lives in Vinings.  He studied at the University of Florida, and is a certified sommelier.  Having worked as a server at the Atlanta Fish Market in the 1980s, he fell in love with wine, and after work you could find him sitting with the general manager, tasting and discussing wines, and looking at maps of the different regions. At first, his love of wine was educational, but then it became his passion.  Not being a sit-behind-the-desk guy, the move to Soho as manager and sommelier was a natural fit. You will often find him guiding Soho’s guests through the wine list to find their perfect pairing and experience.  On his days off, this  self-proclaimed “wine geek” loves exploring Italian wines and small plates at various restaurants in Atlanta, and spending time with his family.
